$3,024 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals
Overview:
Coordinate all phases of nutrition care including assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling
Assess patient nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans
Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
Cover all units throughout the hospital
Complete approximately 10 nutrition assessments per day
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Support patients in an acute care hospital environment

HealthStream assigned on day one
Two evaluations completed during the assignment
Any scrub color permitted
Scrubs are not provided by the facility
File due Wednesday before start date
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian (RD) required
Active New York State Dietitian license required
Minimum 1 year of Dietitian experience required
Acute care experience required
Participation in 4-week weekend rotation required
CNSC preferred
Strong clinical nutrition assessment and counseling skills preferred
