    Overview
    Registered Nurse – Cardiac in Portland, Oregon. Travel assignment starts 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Earn a weekly pay range of $2,231 to $2,396. Shift: 3x12 nights in a Short-Term Acute Care Hospital setting with a dedicated cardiac care team.

    Responsibilities
    - Deliver coordinated nursing care for adult cardiac patients using the nursing process and established standards.
    - Collect data, assess needs, develop a care plan, implement interventions, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
    - Administer medications and treatments per orders, monitor responses, and identify adverse events.
    - Monitor telemetry and hemodynamics; collaborate with physicians, interventional teams, and other disciplines to ensure patient safety and quality care.
    - Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff on the assigned unit; delegate tasks appropriately.
    - Engage patients and families with education and discharge planning to support continuity of care.

    Requirements
    - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Oregon) or eligibility
    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
    - ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
    - At least two years of recent experience in acute care or cardiac care
    - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care cardiac setting
