Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (Cardiac Cath / IR) travel assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date: 08/03/2026 for a multi-week assignment with a 5x8 day shift in a hospital setting performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Weekly pay ranges from $2,279 to $2,393. This travel role requires NY State RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, at least 2 years’ cath lab and interventional radiology experience, and prior travel experience. The assignment includes floating within the hospital as needed and 8 hours of orientation.

Responsibilities
- Provide peri-procedural nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (left and right heart catheters) and IR procedures in two procedure rooms
- Monitor patients during procedural sedation, manage hemodynamics, and interpret/ respond to dysrhythmias; coordinate with physicians and radiology team
- Prepare and assist with arterial/venous access, maintain sterile technique, and support documentation in the electronic charting system (EPIC)
- Post-procedure recovery, monitoring, and teaching for adults and geriatric patients; ensure smooth handoffs to the next care team
- Utilize PA/Swan-Ganz monitoring as indicated; manage sedation, medications, and patient safety
- Floating within the hospital as needed within scope of practice and unit needs

Requirements
- Licensure: NY State RN license required at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required prior to start
- Experience: Minimum 2 years cath lab and interventional radiology (IR) experience
- Travel: Prior travel experience required; travel nurses expected
- EKG: Relias EKG exam required within 72 hours of signing; pass criteria apply
- Compliance: Completion of Healthstream modules and any required compliance coursework by deadlines (e.g., Healthstream modules due by the stated time)
- Residency: Local residency restrictions apply; permanent address within 50 miles of the facility is not accepted; counties restricted include Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster
- Submittal materials: NY license, recent Nursys, copies of required certifications, SSN/DOB, references
