Responsibilities
- Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in CCU.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care to meet established care goals.
- Meet the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among the health care team.
- Document patient status, monitor for changes in condition, and respond appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain patient safety, uphold infection control practices, and comply with unit policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the United States
- CCU/critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to perform 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity environment
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Eligibility to practice in the listed location and meet applicable state requirements
