Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Nurse Educator in Sonora, California. This role involves utilizing adult educational principles and leadership skills to support clinical staff and patients. Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, approximately 10 hours per week, with a work pattern of 3 days one week and 2 days the next, totaling a 40-hour pay period.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required. CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor preferred. Experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF) and knowledge of SNF regulations preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Director of Staff Development or related educational role in Skilled Nursing; knowledge of SNF regulations; flexibility and self-starter attitude.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include coordinating orientation programs, mentoring staff, developing educational programs, maintaining documentation, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and supporting clinical research dissemination. The role supports ongoing professional development and ensures compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.
