OverviewRegistered Nurse, CVOR — Travel assignment in Carbondale, IL. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,558-$2,743 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Days, 0600-1430, with call as required. Setting: hospital operating room.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,558-$2,743 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days (0600-1430) with call as required- Start date: 09/14/2026- Travel assignment in a hospital CVOR settingResponsibilities- Provide intraoperative nursing care in the CVOR for scheduled surgical cases- Prepare patients, assist with positioning, monitor vitals, and support instrumentation and anesthesia; maintain a sterile field- Assist the surgical team with instrumentation, specimen handling, surgical counts, and equipment setup- Monitor patient safety, infection control, and intraoperative changes; communicate clearly with the team- Document perioperative care and ensure accurate handoff to the recovery area- Float to clinically appropriate units as needed within scope of practice and licensureRequirements- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license- Current CPR/BLS certification- ACLS certification- Ability to float to clinically appropriate units as needed within scope and licensure- Availability for day shift with call as requiredBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Extension opportunities for future assignments- Assignment-specific support and travel logistics assistanceFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings available from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
