    Responsibilities
    - Lead nursing services across the assigned department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with standards.
    - Oversee clinical operations, staff orientation, skill development, and the selection/evaluation of preceptors for new employees.
    - Develop and enforce department policies, procedures, and performance standards; coordinate care conferences with the care team.
    - Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments based on patient needs, staff qualifications, and budget considerations.
    - Collaborate with Education and Human Resources to provide ongoing education, competency validation, and performance assessments; address education timelines and required competencies.
    - Ensure regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS, and other relevant standards); participate in quality improvement activities and emergency preparedness; serve as acting Chief Nursing Officer when needed.

    Requirements
    - Licensure: Valid, current AK RN license required at time of submittal
    - Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred
    - Experience: Minimum 5 years professional nursing experience; at least 2 years as staff RN in immunotherapy/chemotherapy; 1 year with supervisory/manager responsibilities
    - Certifications: ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred
    - Additional: Ability to work in a hospital setting; successful credentialing including fingerprinting as part of the process; willing to participate in travel assignments
