Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience.
Details
- Work setting is a large, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center in the Emergency Care Center
- Handles complex, high-volume, and diverse trauma cases including critical and severe presentations
- Mixed adult and pediatric patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- 4 weekend shifts required per month
- Block scheduling is not approved for this unit
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
- Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience required
- Experience in high-acuity, large-scale, high-volume trauma environments required
- Background managing critical, fast-paced situations with diverse and severe cases required
- Large hospital experience strongly preferred; candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of critical and trauma cases in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Conditional compliance will be permitted for credentialing that is actively in process
