Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience.

Details

  • Work setting is a large, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center in the Emergency Care Center
  • Handles complex, high-volume, and diverse trauma cases including critical and severe presentations
  • Mixed adult and pediatric patient population
  • 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • 4 weekend shifts required per month
  • Block scheduling is not approved for this unit
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Preferred certifications: TNCC and ENPC
  • Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience required
  • Experience in high-acuity, large-scale, high-volume trauma environments required
  • Background managing critical, fast-paced situations with diverse and severe cases required
  • Large hospital experience strongly preferred; candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

  • Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of critical and trauma cases in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
