Overview
Registered Nurse — Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, travel assignment in Rochester, New York, starting 09/14/2026 for weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,854 to $2,902 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift is 4x10-hour days. This assignment takes place in a hospital setting with EP lab duties specific to adult and geriatric patients. Scrubs are provided, and Epic is the charting system. The role requires scrubbing or assisting with Micropace monitoring for ablations. COVID-19 vaccine is not required. RTO restrictions apply: no more than 1 week of time off in a contract; submissions with more than 10 days RTO are not accepted. First-timers are welcome; NY state RN licensure in hand is required to submit for compliance.

Responsibilities
- Provide RN coverage for EP lab procedures, including cardiac ablation and mapping, conduction studies, and arrhythmia interpretation/management.
- Assist with pacemaker and AICD insertion/programming, cardioversion, and vascular access management; monitor sheath sites and perform topical hemostasis and vascular closure as indicated.
- Monitor ACT levels; administer IV vasopressors and emergency medications; perform phlebotomy and IV insertion as part of standard patient care.
- Scrub for EP procedures and operate Micropace monitoring systems as required; ensure accurate EPIC charting and documentation.
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and hemodynamic stability for adult and geriatric patients; participate in patient monitoring and routine post-procedure care.
- Coordinate with the EP team to support patient throughput; adhere to unit policies and scheduling constraints; no weekend/holiday/on-call coverage.
Requirements
- Licensure: Current New York State RN license in hand to submit (or as required by compliance)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in electrophysiology or EP lab settings; first-timers accepted
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program; ability to work in an EP lab environment
- Skills: EPIC charting proficiency; ability to scrub procedures; proficient with Micropace monitoring for ablations
- Other: COVID-19 vaccine not required; ability to float to related areas; comfortable with 4x10-hour shifts; able to meet orientation requirements (40 hours)
