Job Description & Requirements

Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN
- Shift:Days, 3x12s (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- Contract Options:36 or 48 hrs/week | 13 or 26 weeks
- Experience:2+ years in a large urban hospital (First-time travelers not accepted)
- Required:BLS, Epic experience
- Preferred:ACLS, CPI
- Unit: 20-bed Med Surg/Telemetry with Ortho & Behavioral Health patients
- Ratios: Days 1:5 | Nights 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)
- Must Be Comfortable: Behavioral health, dementia, detox, violent patient population (training provided)
- Float: Frequent float to multiple Med Surg/Tele units, including Bellevue campus
- Weekend: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- Holiday: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Travel Requirement:No locals within 100 miles
- Scrubs: Mandatory Nebraska Medicine gray scrubs
