Registered Nurse – Emergency Department | Clearlake, CA | Start 10/26/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment at a critical access hospital. Weekly pay between $2,101 and $2,220. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights (6:00 PM–6:30 AM). This is a travel - temporary assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ED patients, including triage, rapid assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and initiate emergency protocols as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure accurate handoffs
- Monitor for changes in patient status, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with ICU/Med-Surg as floating needs arise
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse license
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- EPIC experience required
- At least two years of recent RN experience in the field; acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and in good standing
- ER and ICU experience preferred; some floating may be required
- MICN desired within one year of hire; NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged and recommended
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and perform duties across linked units as needed
