Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group using the nursing process and established standards.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, document findings, and respond to changes in condition.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care, ensuring safety and quality.
- Triage, prioritize needs, and respond to emergencies while maintaining patient advocacy and safety.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels as needed and exercise professional judgment.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Experience in emergency department nursing or a high-acuity setting preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule and participate in a travel assignment
- Ability to pass credentialing processes, background checks, and routine drug screening
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
