Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ED patients (neonates through geriatrics) in a combined adult/pediatric ED
- Conduct rapid assessment, triage, continuous monitoring, and telemetry interpretation; respond to rapid responses
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy using the Omnicell system; document care in EPIC
- Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Work, Interpreters, and Transportation teams; coordinate with unit secretary and other staff
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, manage 4–6 patient assignments per shift, and participate in discharge planning and education
- Float within the hospital as needed per manager discretion and skillset

Requirements
- NY RN license in hand at time of submission; submit current license evidence
- BLS, PALS, NIHSS required
- EPIC charting experience
- Omnicell medication system experience
- Telemetry experience
- Ability to read/interpret rhythms; facility testing required
- Relias EKG exam required shortly after hire; hospital rhythm testing with high accuracy expected
- Onsite rhythm test with strict accuracy standards
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience in a travel or comparable setting; preferred 5 years ED experience
- Must meet travel compliance guidelines, including scope for local radius restrictions
