Work in a combined ED with adult and pediatric patients in an acute care setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,907-$2,022 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0.0- Contract duration: Weeks- Shift: 3x12 Nights- Start date: 08/31/2026- Setting: Combined ED (adult + pediatric)Responsibilities- Provide high-quality emergency department care for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, stabilization, and disposition planning- Monitor telemetry and perform/interpret 12-lead ECGs; recognize and manage dysrhythmias- Administer medications, initiate procedures per protocol, draw labs, and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams- Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Social Services, and other support services to ensure patient needs are met- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and manage patient flow, prioritization, and occasional float within the department per manager discretionRequirements- Active New York RN license in hand at submission- BLS, PALS, and NIHSS required at start- Strongly preferred: ACLS, TNCC, triage experience, Level 1 trauma experience- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required for submission; 5 years of current ED experience preferred- Recent Nursys verification and professional references required- Competency in rhythm interpretation and telemetry; ability to pass facility rhythm exam and Relias EKG exam within specified timelines- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and to float within hospital as needed per unit policyBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- 24-hour orientation to prepare for the shift (as provided by the assignment)Find more opportunitiesTo explore additional openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
