Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 10/26/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,465–$2,627 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department for newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, including assessment, monitoring, and triage.
- Administer medications and therapies per orders, manage IVs and urgent infusions, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition.
- Document actions and patient responses in EPIC EMR; communicate clearly with the ED team, physicians, and ancillary staff.
- Participate in patient flow processes, discharge planning, and patient and family education in alignment with ED protocols.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; respond to trauma and emergency events as part of the care team.
- Be prepared to float to other ED areas as needed to meet unit staffing requirements.
Requirements
- Active NY Registered Nurse license with Nursys verification
- Certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
- Experience: 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience; some pediatric experience preferred
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Travel experience required; open to locals (within 75 miles eligible for local rate)
- Drivers license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (Return to Office/Time Off) must be included at time of submission
- Must be willing to travel and float as needed within ED settings
