Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Start date: 10/29/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks with potential transition to full-time/perm. Weekly pay range: $2,033–$2,170. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: hospital ER.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department for adult and pediatric patients as needed
- Perform initial assessments, triage, and continuous monitoring of vital signs and patient status
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders; manage analgesia and sedation as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, ED techs, and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize patient flow and care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record; ensure timely updates to care team
- Prepare patients and families with discharge instructions, referrals, and follow-up plans; participate in trauma or resuscitation scenarios when required
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
- BSN required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of three years ED/ER experience; trauma experience preferred but not required
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment and maintain composure during high-acuity cases
