Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department, West Chester, PA, start date 10/29/2026 for a 12-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,100–$2,175 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED, including rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of acuity-based conditions
- Administer medications, manage IVs, analgesia, and emergency interventions as directed by protocols and supervising clinicians
- Coordinate patient movement with imaging, labs, and specialty services; prepare for procedures and communications with the patient and families
- Document all care in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate handoffs during shift change and collaborate with a multidisciplinary ED team
- Apply trauma and resuscitation principles as needed; maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements
- Licenses: Active RN license in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Education: BSN required
- Experience: Minimum of three years of ED nursing experience; trauma experience preferred but not required
- Other: Ability to work the listed night shift in an ED environment and to participate in orientation and unit-specific protocols
