Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines; exercise critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, perform ongoing assessments, and contribute to developing and updating individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, respond to changes in patient condition or emergent situations, and ensure safety and comfort for patients.
- Maintain adherence to infection control practices, safety protocols, and documentation standards per policy.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred; or equivalent clinical ICU exposure.
- Ability to work night shift (12-hour shifts) and 36 hours per week.
- Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and clear communication with patients, families, and team members.
- Willingness to travel for temporary assignment; eligibility to work in the United States.
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program (ADN or BSN).
