Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, administer medications and therapies as ordered, and document care accurately.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans; perform ongoing evaluations and escalate issues as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across multiple levels; coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines.
- Maintain patient safety and quality outcomes through vigilant assessment, communication, and timely interventions.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team; advocate for patient needs.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States; eligible for California practice as applicable.
- ICU nursing experience; minimum 1 year preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and teamwork skills; ability to function in a high-acuity environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills; commitment to patient-centered care.
