Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to IR patients before, during, and after procedures; monitor telemetry and vital signs
- Assist the IR team with procedures, equipment setup, sterile technique, and patient positioning
- Manage post-procedure recovery and discharge planning per protocol; document vitals, medications, and patient instructions
- Administer and monitor medications within scope; respond to emergencies and telemetry alarms promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the peri-procedural process
- Collaborate with the charge nurse and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support stress testing coverage as required

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS (AHA) Certification
- Current ACLS (AHA) Certification
- Minimum 2 years IR nursing experience
- Ability to pass Telemetry Competency Exam
- Onboarding tests: Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions); testing conducted via Zoom prior to assignment, one attempt only, with an 85% passing score; candidates must complete tests within 48 hours of confirmation
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no local travel); orientation is biweekly
- Documentation of professional development activities
