Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients and newborns in the L&D setting
- Triage, circulate, and recover as needed in PACU per unit requirements
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, respond to changes, and implement physician orders
- Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and nursing colleagues to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Document care activities accurately and maintain clear handoffs across shifts
Requirements
- Current RN license and eligibility to practice as a registered nurse
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills
- Capacity to work in a hospital environment on a travel assignment
- Willingness to perform responsibilities related to PACU duties as described
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced obstetric setting
