Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care for mothers and newborns in a busy Family Birthing Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery and be comfortable working in a Level I newborn care setting.
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Provide postpartum and newborn nursery care
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as needed
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Maintain accurate documentation using Paragon EMR
Requirements:
Active Michigan RN License
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery experience
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications
Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
Assignment Details:
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend required
No on-call
Family Birthing Unit with Level I newborn care
Paragon EMR

Candidates must not be actively working another job
Local and travel candidates accepted (local rate applies within a 35-mile radius)
