Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg – Travel, Aberdeen, Washington. This 13-week assignment starts on 08/31/2026 in a hospital setting. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $2,007 to $2,186. Shift is 3x12-hour days (0645–1915). RTO must be approved and added to the end of the contract. The position is in a hospital setting near Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the medical-surgical unit following orders from the multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications, monitor responses, manage IV therapy and wound care as appropriate
- Monitor patient status, perform routine assessments, and document in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members; participate in discharge planning and family communication
- Perform neurologic assessments as ordered (NIHSS) and respond to changes in patient condition
- Willingness to float to other departments in rotation while maintaining quality of care
Requirements
- Current Washington state registered nurse license or a multi-state license with WA verification (Nursys demographics)
- Approved 6-hour suicide training
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work in a hospital medical-surgical setting and to float to other departments as needed
- Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required
- Must be a team player and able to collaborate across shifts and departments
