Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans; monitor patient progress and adjust as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per policy; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care; communicate effectively with the care team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure patient safety, follow infection control practices, and uphold professional standards.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon (or ability to obtain/transfer per requirements)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in good standing
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Med Surg or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shift schedules; able to meet facility credentialing and onboarding requirements
- Capacity to work effectively in a hospital setting and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
