OverviewRegistered Nurse – Med Surg (Adult/Geriatric) in Saratoga Springs, NY. Travel assignment starts on 10/19/2026 for a duration of Weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,126-$2,176 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3×12-hour nights. Setting: hospital.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,126-$2,176 per week- Guaranteed hours: none- Duration: Weeks- Shift: 3×12-hour nights- Start date: 10/19/2026- Weekend coverage requiredResponsibilities- Provide Med/Surg nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, including monitoring and responding to patient needs- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders, including insulin and heparin as indicated- Perform IV starts, peripheral line care, blood draws, and blood product administration; manage PICC/central line care as within scope- Conduct wound care, wound VAC care as appropriate, and provide infection precautions- Monitor patient status, document in charting systems, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to adjust care plans- Float to other units within skillset as needed and directed by the managerRequirements- Current NY RN license required at submission; submit recent Nursys verification and current certifications prior to start- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience (required at submission)- Prior travel experience required- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred- EKG requirements: complete Relias EKG exam within 72 hours of signing; onsite EKG requires 85% and identification of critical rhythms; retest/remediation allowed if score conditions apply- Healthstream modules: all required Healthstream modules (except TB testing, Orientation Checklist, and Care of the Stroke Patient policy) must be complete by 7 a.m. on the Wednesday prior to start- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required- Local residence restrictions: local candidates within 50 miles of the designated location are not accepted- EHR/charting: provide ability to work in a hospital setting with standard med-surg documentation- Additional: eligibility to work in the United States and ability to meet the unit’s credentialing and compliance requirementsBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment- Dedicated account management for on-going coordination- Orientation and credentialing coordination to facilitate onboarding- Compliance guidance and resources to meet Relias EKG, Healthstream, and policy requirements- Support with assignment logistics and payroll processesFind more opportunitiesTo explore additional openings and apply for other roles, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
