Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per facility policies, and document changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to plan and implement patient care while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule
- Med Surg experience or exposure preferred
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient, fast-paced care setting
