Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, Lima, Ohio. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $1,790–$1,888 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12). Working in a hospital setting on a Med Surg Tele unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults on a Med Surg Tele unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using age-specific criteria.
- Monitor telemetry, interpret heart rhythms, and intervene promptly for rhythm changes or unstable status.
- Administer prescribed medications, including cardiac agents (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex) and titrate as needed.
- Collaborate with LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries to coordinate care and assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff.
- Recognize signs of stroke or clinical deterioration and implement appropriate interventions; communicate changes to the care team.
- Document care accurately in the medical record and adhere to policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or CompactRN license (Nursys)
- 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Competence in telemetry monitoring and heart rhythm interpretation
- Ability to recognize changes in patient status and intervene with critical thinking
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift in a hospital setting
