**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Older Pediatric/Hospice** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a significant impact on patient care? Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg/Older Pediatric/Hospice unit! - Evaluate patients and assist physicians in providing top-notch care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. - Identify patient needs and prioritize care through detailed assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans, focusing on initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions with compassion and skill. - Manage care for a diverse group of patients. - Document care in alignment with standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support the adoption of innovative care delivery methods. - Provide patient-centric care in line with professional nursing practice models. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MedSurg/Tele unit within a major acute care hospital setting. - Strong background in MedSurg/Telemetry. **Required Hard Skills:** - Telemetry - Med-Surg **Required Soft Skills:** - Experience in hospice care and compassion in taking care of hospice patients. **Education:** - Required Education: ASN - Preferred Education: BSN **Required Certifications & Licensure:** - NIHSS - Telemetry - BLS-AHA - CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license - ACLS **Languages:** - English (Read, Write, Speak) **Schedule Notes:** - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - 3 x 12 Every Other Weekend Required - 1 Holiday Requirement - No On-Call Requirement - Floating Required when Needed - Scrub Color: Navy Blue **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
