Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for a diverse patient population including neurological conditions such as strokes and aneurysms.
  • Manage patient assignments up to six medical-surgical patients and maintain appropriate care ratios for stepdown units.
  • Administer drips as required and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Float to various units as needed to accommodate facility staffing requirements.
  • Utilize EPIC for charting and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
  • Adhere to all facility policies including the nicotine-free environment and uniform requirements.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license; pending Nebraska State License accepted with stipulations.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a high-acuity setting, preferably at a Level I Academic Medical Center.
  • Proficiency in EPIC charting system and management of drips.
  • Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and other relevant skills such as dysrhythmia interpretation and telemetry are required.
  • Ability to work assigned weekend and holiday shifts as per contract requirements.
  • Commitment to adhering to a 100% nicotine-free policy within the facility.
