**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics/PICU!** **Job Description:** - As a vital member of our healthcare team, you'll evaluate patients and assist physicians in delivering exceptional patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. - Identify patient needs and prioritize care through comprehensive assessment, thoughtful planning, effective intervention, and thorough evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments guided by the patient’s problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions with skill and compassion. - Manage the care of patients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. - Document care meticulously, aligning with established standards of care and practice, reflecting patient acuity and clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care, adhering to a professional nursing practice model. - Embrace additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to enhance our team and patient experience. **Required Skills & Experience:** - A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related specialty. **Education:** - Required: ASN degree. - Preferred: BSN degree. **Certifications & Licensure:** - Required: - BLS - AHA Certification. - NRP Certification (AHA only). - NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. - Preferred: N/A **Languages:** - English: Read, Write, Speak **Schedule Notes:** - Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM - 3 x 12 hours - Every Other Weekend Required - No On-Call Requirement - Floating Required As Needed (Pediatrics/PICU) - Scrub Color: Navy **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
