OverviewRegistered Nurse - NICU travel assignment in Glendale, California begins 08/24/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,442-$2,625 per week. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. This position operates in a hospital setting with a neonatal intensive care unit.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,442 - $2,625 per week- Guaranteed hours: 48 per week- Contract duration: 8 weeks- Shift: Night shift (3x12 hours)- Start date: 08/24/2026- Setting: Acute care hospital NICU; requires recent EPIC and Cerner experienceResponsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for NICU patients using the nursing process and established standards.- Monitor neonates’ vital signs, respiratory status, IVs, medications, and equipment; respond to changes in condition promptly.- Develop and implement care plans, evaluate progress, and adjust interventions to achieve outcomes; participate in discharge planning.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, respiratory therapy, nursing, and allied staff) to coordinate care and promote a safe, healing environment.- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; delegate duties and coordinate duties of the care team.- Document accurately in the electronic health record systems (EPIC and Cerner) and provide education to patients/families and treatment teams; participate in family teaching.Requirements- Active registered nursing license in the state of practice (California required)- BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with relevant NICU experience- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU or acute care RN experience- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; BLS HS-BLS or RQI BLS accepted per policy- Proficiency with EPIC and Cerner electronic health record systems; recent experience required- Ability to work in a 24/7 hospital NICU environment; night shift ability required- Vaccinations required as a condition of employment, consistent with organizational policyBenefits and Support- Competitive weekly pay- Guaranteed hours- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing- Extension opportunities- Nationwide assignments- Dedicated support throughout the assignmentFind more opportunitiesTo explore additional openings available with Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
