Compensation:

• Local Pay Rate: $55 - $61/ hr on W2

• Travel Weekly Gross Pay: $2308 - $2452/ week (Includes taxable and non-taxable amount)

Job Summary:

Grady Memorial Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
• Respond effectively in emergency and trauma situations.
• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as required.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact state license).
• Minimum recent Operating Room nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Level I Trauma Center experience required.
• Strong OR clinical and technical skills.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced surgical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Burn Center experience preferred.
• Additional perioperative certifications (CNOR preferred).
• Experience with a wide variety of surgical specialties.
