Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a PCU, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention to support goals of care.
- Administer medications, manage IVs and lines, and perform routine procedures per plan of care.
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record, communicate with patients and families, and participate in rounding and discharge planning.
- Uphold patient safety and quality standards, incorporating evidence-based practices and institutional policies into daily care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (in good standing) and knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12) in a PCU setting.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for 13 weeks.
- Ability to operate within a hospital clinical environment administered by nurse leadership and guided by established practice models and ethics.
