OverviewRegistered Nurse, PCU | Utica, NY | Start date 10/19/2026 | 13 weeks | $3,103-$3,148 per week | 48 guaranteed hours per week | 2x4 Nights | Hospital travel assignmentKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $3,103-$3,148 per week- Guaranteed hours: 48 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Schedule: 2x4 Nights (12-hour shifts)- Start date: 10/19/2026- Work setting: Travel clinical assignment in a hospital environmentResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care as a registered nurse in the PCU/IMCU for adult patients (18+) with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.- Monitor patient status, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, monitor telemetry, and respond to clinical changes promptly.- Utilize unit-specific equipment and devices, including temporary pacing, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and chronic ventilator support with RT assistance as needed.- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; document care and interventions in EPIC EMR; educate patients and families as appropriate.- Maintain safety and quality standards, manage documentation accurately, and float to other units as required by the assignment.- Adhere to unit protocols, assist with procedures, and participate in ongoing performance improvement activities.Requirements- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification; RTO must be included at time of submission.- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience; travel/assignment experience preferred.- EPIC EMR experience required.- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.- Ability to work in a hospital setting with 12-hour night shifts and support for chronic vent patients as needed.- Driver’s license with address matching demographics.- Local candidates within roughly 75 miles may qualify for local rate eligibility.Education- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN) with active NY license.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Housing assistance available- Extension opportunities- Fast credentialing process- Nationwide assignments- Referral bonus up to $1,000Find more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t the right fit, explore additional travel nursing openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
