Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates.

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

- Weekend Requirement: Two weekend shifts per month (Friday and Saturday nights are considered weekend shifts)
- Float: Required to Mother/Baby (Well Baby) as needed
Unit Information
- 8-bed Pediatric Unit
- Patient Ratios: 3:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity
- Patient Population: Newborn through 17 years of age
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Common Patient Diagnoses
- Failure to Thrive
- Hyperbilirubinemia
- Bronchiolitis
- RSV
- Respiratory Distress
- Nausea and Vomiting
- Post-operative Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy (T&A) care
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of Pediatric RN experience
- BLS required
- PALS required
- NRP required
- Strong pediatric assessment skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable floating to Mother/Baby (Well Baby) when needed
