Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care for adult patients in a Telemetry/MS float pool.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry data; respond to alarms and changes in status.
- Administer medications and IV therapies according to the plan of care; manage basic tubing and access devices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document patient status, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Maintain patient safety, adhere to infection control standards, and escalate emergencies during the night shift as needed.
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Telemetry or float pool nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
- Eligible to participate in a travel assignment and complete credentialing requirements.
