Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications as ordered, and document care accurately.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines and disciplines’ staff to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels, providing guidance as needed.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent problem-solving to patient care plans.
- Maintain patient safety, quality of care, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon
- General Telemetry/hospital setting experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts (3x12)
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment for the contract duration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
