Unit: Telemetry/Stepdown on a hospital service.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,113–$2,290 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0.0 hours- Start date: 11/02/2026- Shift: 3x12 Nights- Contract duration: weeks- Unit/setting: Telemetry/Stepdown (D1) in a hospital- Orientation: ~24 hours- Housing note: local housing is expensive in the fall; traveler should review housing prior to signingResponsibilities- Monitor adult and geriatric patients on telemetry; interpret dysrhythmias and respond to rhythm changes- Administer IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions; support stroke care as needed- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Transportation, Unit Secretary) to coordinate patient care- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic; participate in required training and testing (HealthStream modules or Relias/EKG prerequisites)- Float within the hospital as needed within scope of practice and skill set- Ensure safety and perform standard care duties for the telemetry/stepdown populationRequirements- NY RN license in-hand at time of submission- Current BLS and ACLS; NIHSS required or obtainable prior to start (NIHSS can be obtained before starting if needed)- Minimum 2 years of telemetry/stepdown RN experience preferred; strong consideration for candidates with extensive RN experience plus at least 1 year recent telemetry/stepdown work- Proficiency in reading and interpreting dysrhythmias; experience with cardiac drips/continuous infusions; stroke care experience a plus- Must pass facility rhythm examinations and Relias/EKG testing within required timelines; on-site proctored rhythm test with high accuracy- Vaccination: Flu vaccine or documented exemption required; COVID-19 vaccine not requiredBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Fast credentialing and onboarding- Orientation provided (approximately 24 hours) and compliance guidance- Access to resources for on-assignment needs and credentialing continuityFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t quite a fit, explore additional travel RN openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
