Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Aurora, Colorado. This position involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients within a busy acute care environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ventilator management, airway management, and other critical respiratory procedures in a high-volume unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, minimum 6 months of current acute care RT hospital experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, PEDS/NICU/PICU experience.
• Patient Ratios: Variable depending on patient needs.
• Unit Information:
  • Number of Beds: 350
  • Number of Staff: 38
  • Staff Types: Day and Night Shift teams with one charge nurse and five staff members per shift.
  • Equipment: Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, Vyair Avea
  • EMR System: Meditech
• Typical Procedures Performed: Ventilator management, airway management
