Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Wichita, KS. This opportunity involves providing respiratory therapy in a high-volume, critical care environment. The respiratory therapy team supports a Level 1 trauma center, PICU, and NICU, with advanced equipment and technology to deliver exemplary patient care.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: NBRC Certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS; 6 months current RT experience; 12-hour shift; minimum of 36 hours per week; start date 10/05/2026, end date 01/04/2027.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The unit manages adult and pediatric respiratory care treatments, ventilator management, both invasive and noninvasive, utilizing advanced equipment such as V800 Draeger ventilators, C1 Hamilton ventilators, and Airvo for high-flow nasal cannula therapy. The facility offers 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, Level 1 trauma services, and specialized units including PICU and NICU.
