Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Pediatric (PEDS) position is located in Asheville, North Carolina, within the Respiratory Services department of a leading healthcare organization. This role involves providing respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their North Carolina Respiratory License on the first day of the assignment.

- Required Qualifications: North Carolina Respiratory License, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and no minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is considered a plus.
- Shift Schedule: Day Shift with 15-20 Respiratory Therapists for adult service lines and 3-4 Therapists for NICU/Peds service lines during day shifts; Night Shift with 12-16 Respiratory Therapists for adult service lines and 3-4 for NICU/Peds service lines during night shifts.
- Additional Information: Varying weekends (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule). One position available, created as a contractor replacement.
- Certifications: RRT and North Carolina Respiratory License are mandatory.
- Floats: All Critical Care units and floors.
