Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a critical care setting for a seasonal travel assignment. The position involves providing respiratory care treatments, ventilator management, and invasive and noninvasive procedures within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The assignment is for a facility with specialized pediatric, adult intensive care, trauma, and neonatal units, emphasizing advanced technology and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NBRC Certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS; a minimum of 6 months current respiratory therapy experience; location requirement is within the state of Kansas (or as specified); no minimum years of experience beyond the required 6 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience, strong ICU background
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a unit equipped with V800 Draeger ventilators, C1 Hamilton ventilators, and Airvo for High Flow Nasal Cannula (HHFNC). The unit maintains a high level of acuity with 15 beds in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Level 1 adult trauma coverage, a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and ECMO capabilities.
