• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved respiratory program; 2 years of experience; licensure including PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT); NRP may be required for certain facilities; state license as applicable

• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will read prescriptions, measure arterial blood gases, operate mechanical ventilators and other respiratory devices, evaluate medical orders, and perform pulmonary function tests. All duties are performed in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
