Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment supporting neonatal respiratory care.

Details

  • Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a 140-bed hospital
  • Care for NICU and adult patient populations
  • Utilizes CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and Hamilton C1 ventilators, as well as V60 and Hamilton MR1 equipment
  • Documentation completed in Meditech
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • RRT certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of general Respiratory Therapy experience
  • NICU experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NRP certification preferred, but can be obtained after hire
  • License required if applicable
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory care to neonatal and adult patients using advanced ventilation and CPAP therapies
  • All black scrubs required as part of dress code
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
