Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU/Pediatric | Florida
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU/Pediatric
- Start Date:08/17/2026
- Contract Length:13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights – 3×12 Hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Must have at least 1 year of Pediatric ICU experience, including Level III NICU
- NICU experience is a mandatory requirement – candidates without NICU experience will not be considered.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Required License & Certifications
- Active Florida Respiratory Care License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS (Required)
- Preferred: ACLS, PALS, and NRP
Charting System
- Epic preferred
Schedule & Requirements
- Night Shift (3×12)
- No On-Call
- Floating required within scope to Pediatric units as needed
- Block scheduling not available
- Local candidates are not accepted (permanent residence must be more than 75 miles from the facility)
- RTO approval is at the hiring manager's discretion
