Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) position located in West Burlington, Iowa. This role involves assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders across diverse patient populations, including neonates, infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. The position requires providing high-quality respiratory care, supervising respiratory care students, and performing therapeutic procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Every other weekend work is required. On-call responsibilities are part of each scheduling period, with coverage of other shifts as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapy license, certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT), at least 1 year of experience, and recent Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: A unit of mandatory low census may be implemented once per week depending on patient load. Some pediatric experience is advantageous but not mandatory. On-call duties are required each scheduling period.
