This role involves providing advanced respiratory care in various pediatric and neonatal units, including ICU and emergency settings. The therapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver specialized respiratory interventions and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS)
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist certification, Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field, Ohio state licensure, at least 1 year of clinical experience in pediatric or neonatal respiratory care
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal intensive care, pediatric ICU, high-risk delivery, and advanced respiratory protocols such as Nitric Oxide therapy and NRP protocol
Additional Information: The role includes proficiency in aerosol therapy, airway management, blood gas analysis, humidity therapy, monitoring, and transport of ventilated patients. The respiratory therapist will interface with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other disciplines to deliver comprehensive care in high-acuity pediatric and neonatal units.
