Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Woodruff, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting all patient care areas within the hospital, including emergency services such as Rapid Response and Code Blue. The position requires a resilient, hard-working social candidate capable of managing change and working independently, with a focus on critical care, ventilator management, and patient assessment across all age groups.
Job Details
- Shift: Rotating shifts, with variable hours between 0700-1900 or 1900-0700.
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Minimum Experience: 0 years required; 2+ years preferred.
- Certifications: AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
- Education: Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- License: Wisconsin state license required.
- Float Requirements: Rhinelander, Tomahawk, or Eagle River; can be low censused and put on call for 36 hours per contract.
- Position Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical services, including ventilator management, arterial blood gas draws, EKGs, patient assessments, and support for all age groups using Assess and Treat Protocols.
- Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes; scrubs of any color; clean; scent-free. During flu season, vaccination is mandatory, or masks must be worn at all times while on duty.
- Interview Schedule: Monday through Friday, with manager phone interviews available.
- Additional Notes: Candidate must be resilient, capable of managing change, and able to work independently under fast-paced conditions.
