Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position located in Richland, Washington. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and adult intensive care settings. The position requires flexibility to work across departments, including NICU and adult ICU units, with a focus on critically ill patients. The assignment begins on August 10, 2026, offering a rotating shift schedule and collaborative interdisciplinary support.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State license in hand with at least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level 3 NICU or adult ICU settings, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and familiarity with high-acuity patient care.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required; flexibility in department assignments is essential.
  • Additional Information: Must be able to work in a fast-paced NICU environment with specialized equipment such as Bunnell Jet Ventilation. Candidates should have experience with adult critical care, ventilator management, blood gas interpretation, and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy. The provider should be comfortable with high-pressure alarm troubleshooting and high-frequency ventilator management.
