MedCadre is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Lancaster, PA, 17601
Job Type: 13-week contract with the possibility of extensions
Shift Timing: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM (Every Other Weekend)
Working Hours: 36 hours per week; 12 hrs/day, and 3 days in a week (3x12s)
Position Summary:
Respiratory therapists prefer RRT-required skills. To be able to perform all aspects of respiratory care, including but not limited to vent, BiPAP, and HiFlow management; blood gases; respiratory medication delivery, etc. Emergency Department, Critical Care, General Floor Care (adult, children, nursery, and critical care).
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients’ respiratory status by evaluating vital signs, blood gases, and physical examinations to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
Administer respiratory treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy in accordance with physician orders.
Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory devices.
Required Qualifications:
PA State Active RRT License
BLS (AHA) Certification
ACLS (AHA) Certification
PALS (AHA) Certification
